A Century of Excellence in Footwear
Karida Store’s legacy dates back to 1912 when Konstantis Karidas founded a small shoe workshop in Serres, Nigrita. Over the decades, the business grew, with significant milestones including the opening of the first store in Thessaloniki in 1942 by Grigoris Karidas, and the establishment of a renowned four-floor store at 52 Egnatia Street in 1970. Famous for its high-quality, uniquely designed footwear, the store became a city landmark with the iconic "Karida’s Shoe". By 2001, the brand evolved into "Fratelli Karida", exclusively importing Italian women's shoes, and later the brand changes to “KARIDA 1912”, emphasizing the family’s legacy and experience of 100+ years in footwear.
